Andhra Bed Admission 2023 is conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Andhra Bed Admission is done based on the scores obtained by a candidate in the entrance exam. Andhra Bed Admission 2023 is based on the Andhra  EDCET 2023 scores.

APSCHE has released the exam dates for the Andhra EDCET 2023. THE Andhra EDCET 2023 will be held on May 20, 2023. The Andhra Bed Admission registrations will begin in April 2023. The candidates who qualify for the entrance test are required to take part in the Andhra Pradesh Bed counseling sessions. Bed Admission is granted to the University, Government, Aided, and Private Colleges of Education in Andhra on the basis of Andhra EDCET counseling rounds only.

Bed is a 2-Year professional undergraduate Teacher Training Course. For candidates who wish to become a teacher, it is mandatory to have a Bed Course. Andhra  Bed Admission 2023 is based on the Andhra EDCET. Candidates must have completed their undergraduate program in any relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks to be eligible for Andhra  Bed Admission .

Andhra University B.Ed. Course Eligibility Criteria

In order to appear for the Entrance test required to take admission at Andhra University, there are certain eligibility criteria that the candidate needs to fulfill. These are:The candidate must have passed any Bachelor's Degree (except BFA/BAOL) with a minimum score of 50% marks from Andhra University or any other University recognized as equivalent. However, SC / ST / BC / PWD candidates need to have a minimum score of 40% marks as per rules of the State Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

The candidate must also be a trained in-service teacher and must be working in Government Recognized Schools or in Educational Sector as primary, upper-primary teachers with SGT/ PRT/ TTC / D.Ed. / D.El.Ed. / D.P.Ed. / Pre-primary / Montessori / Fine Arts / any course in Education approved by University / NCTE.

Andhra University B.Ed. Admissions Guidelines

Admissions to the B.Ed. course at Andhra University shall happen on the basis of an Entrance Exam conducted by the university.

How to Apply? 

1. Download the application form from official website.
2. Duly fill in the application form with all the relevant details.
3. Pay the application fee of Rs. 500/- of Registrar fee, and Submit it along with the form.
4. One day before the commencement of the examination, the hall tickets shall be issued in person to the candidates.
